Our Story

New owners, Chef Michael Smith and his wife Chastity are proud to welcome you to their ‘labour of love’. For Michael, coming back to the Inn is a return to his roots. For seven years in the 1990’s, he manned the stoves, bringing International fame to a little known country inn. For Chastity, being an innkeeper is a chance to share her Maritime roots, stylish flair and love of entertaining with you and your family. Our rooms are tastefully decorated with a blend of treasured antiques and modern touches. In each room you will find Bvlgari toiletries, Nespresso coffee machines, 300 thread count sheets, terrycloth robes, slippers, flat screen TV’s, free WiFi, air conditioning, fresh flowers, and of course first dibs on seats at our nightly FireWorks Feast. Farm to Table

Our chefs create a new menu every day using ingredients from our very own organic farm and those from other Prince Edward Island suppliers. Farmers Jeff and Carey Wood are an integral part of our team. Every day their love of organic farming nourishes our soil, fills our harvest baskets and informs our menu. We're proud of their efforts and the more than 100 different fruits and vegetables they produce every year. read more
