Our History
Prince Edward Island is the traditional and unceded territory of several Mi’kmaq First Nations. The Mi’kmaq people have lived on PEI for thousands of years.
Our province’s population also includes many other Indigenous peoples, such as Metis and Inuit, who have made PEI their home.
Fortune has long been a community of hard work tied to the land and sea. In the last century we’ve also become a historic artists colony.

We are a farm first. We grow what we serve yet harvest far more than impeccable produce from our own unique terroir.
