Chefs’ Harvest Dining Series

CHEFS’ HARVEST DINING SERIES

A Taste of What’s to Come This Fall

October 15, 16, 17 | October 22, 23, 24 | October 29, 30, 31 | November 5, 6, 7

This fall, Chefs’ Harvest Dining Series returns to The Inn at Bay Fortune with a unique and intimate culinary experience celebrating the harvest, the creativity of our Fire Brigade and the flavours of Prince Edward Island.

Across four exclusive weekends, meet and mingle with the chefs throughout an evening of bold culinary expression, creativity and storytelling. Come for the dining experience, or stay overnight and continue the story into the following morning with exclusive culinary programming, a gourmet fire cooked breakfast and a foraging adventure.

What to Expect…

Mind of a Chef Interactive Session

Thoughtful conversation with Chef Michael Smith and four Fire Brigade chefs, accompanied by their four inspired chef tastings. Explore the ideas, stories and creative process behind the dishes.

Experimental Workshop

A roving, exploratory reception around the fire featuring creative bites the Fire Brigade, and Forager Nick of North.

The Seven | A Chefs’ Tasting Menu

Each weekend, a different chef takes the lead, creating a deeply personal seven course menu inspired by their culinary story and driven by the harvests of our Culinary Farm and Prince Edward Island.

OCTOBER 15–17 | CHEF JASON MULLINS
Creatively composed and inspired by the abundance of our Culinary Farm’s harvest.

OCTOBER 22–24 | HEAD CHEF MATT PIGEON
An elegantly plated exploration of South America through fire and flavour, rooted in our Culinary Farm’s harvest.

OCTOBER 29–31 | SOUS CHEF MACKENZIE BROWN
A personal menu inspired by the dishes and flavours that helped shape Mackenzie as a young chef, crafted from our Culinary Farm’s harvest.

NOVEMBER 5–7 | CHEF MICHAEL SMITH
A return to where it all began. Michael revisits the best of his 1990s Inn Chef era menus, reimagined through the lens of today’s Inn and our Culinary Farm.

In the 1990s, Chef Michael Smith became known to audiences across Canada and around the world as executive chef of The Inn at Bay Fortune and host of The Inn Chef. His six years in the kitchen helped establish his signature ingredient driven cooking and deep connection to Prince Edward Island.

In 2015, Michael and his wife and business partner, Chastity, purchased The Inn at Bay Fortune, beginning a new chapter and transforming it into the international culinary destination it is today.

This fall, Chefs’ Harvest brings those stories to the table.
