Do you allow pets?

Yes, we’re pleased to welcome overnight guests and their well-behaved, beloved pet(s) to The Inn at Bay Fortune. We understand that pets are cherished members of the family, and we do our best to accommodate them while ensuring a comfortable experience for all our guests. Pets must remain leashed when outside guest rooms and are not permitted in any food service areas, including the Fire Garden during meal service or on the Farm Tour. While we love animals, not all guests share the same comfort level. We trust that pet owners will be mindful of their pet’s behaviour and noise, ensuring it doesn’t impact the enjoyment of others. Please note: Pets are not permitted for guests attending the FireWorks Feast only. Pets may not be left unattended in vehicles (unless safely climate-controlled) or tied outside during the event. Can children come to the FireWorks Feast?

Like many of the world’s leading restaurants that discourage children under 12 in their establishments, we feel the Fireworks Feast experience is not an ideal setting for our guest’s young children.  We are parents too, and we want to ensure a safe and unique experience for all.  We have excellent Nanny services for in-house guests with well-loved and trusted people, including the Smith’s personal Nanny! Please email info@innatbayfortune.com for more information.

What should I wear to the FireWorks Feast?

Guests often dress in Garden Party attire.  Please wear comfortable shoes to join our Culinary Farm tour and Oyster Hour. Remember that we are a working Culinary farm with rough trails and roads. Being on the farm also means we have insects like pesky mosquitoes and working bees.

Can you accommodate allergies or vegetarian requests?

Yes, we welcome anyone with allergies, special dietary restrictions or vegetarian/vegan diets to dine with us. We can adjust our menu with advance notice for dietary allergies and sensitivities. Please inform us upon booking, or up to 72 hours before arrival.

Will Chef Michael Smith be at the FireWorks Feast?

Chef Michael makes every effort to toast guests at the beginning of each Feast.  However, due to his incredibly busy schedule and other personal commitments, he may not be present at the night you are dining.

I’m staying two nights at the Inn, so do you have other dining options besides the FireWorks Feast?

Yes, staying another night? Enjoy our Welcome Bar Platter, Stay-Inn Supper or Farm Picnic prepared by our culinary team. Enjoyed in your location of choice. This option is only available to overnight guests.

Where can I dine off the property?

Prince Edward Island is full of excellent culinary eateries. Most restaurants nearby the Town of Souris close between 6:00-8:00 pm.  Visit www.tourismpei.com or speak to our front desk for assistance.

Do you have nightly fireworks?

No, we never have real fireworks.  Our restaurant name is a homage to the multiple live fires we burn daily as part of our FireWorks Feast.
